Symmetry Counselling is the private counselling practice of Sarah McCartney BA (Hons) Counselling, MBACP (Accred).

I am a person centred counsellor and work in private practice in West Drayton.  I also work as a counsellor at a secondary school.

I trained at the Metanoia Institute in Ealing, West London.  I am a qualified  Person Centred Counsellor and a BACP Accredited Counsellor.  I am also qualified in couples counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and supervision.

I chose the name "Symmetry" as it is from the Greek word symmetria, which means 'together'. This reflects the process of counsellor and client working together to deal with the client’s issues and to find more fulfilment for the client.

Sarah McCartney - Symmetry Counselling

A modern definition of symmetry is:  "Beauty as a result of balance or harmonious arrangement."  I believe that counselling offers the potential for a person to achieve a more harmonious and balanced way of living.
